The Central Teacher Eligibility Test is a national level entrance exam for teachers conducted by the CBSE. Every year, thousands of aspirants appear for the exam to get recruited as a teacher for classes 1 to 8 in various central government schools across the country.

The CTET exam conducted for candidates to be eligible for selection as a teacher for classes 1 to 8. CBSE has declared the result of the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) on its official website. The exam was conducted in December/January.

The CTET is one of the most coveted examinations of the country for teaching jobs. The examination, along with other teaching examinations on similar lines conducted by state boards, is for recruitment of teachers at the school level.

CTET scores apply to schools of the central government ( Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Central Tibetan Schools, etc) and those under the administrative control of Union territories of Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu and Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

These scores may also apply to unaided private schools that may exercise the option of considering the CTET marks. Schools owned and managed by the state government/ local bodies and aided schools shall consider the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the state government. However, if a state government decides not to conduct the state TET, it can also consider the CTET scores.

How to check CTET Result 2023?

Central Teacher Eligibility Test, CTET Result would be released by the Central Board of Secondary Education on its official website, ctet.nic.in. The CBSE board will release the Central CTET Result after the answer key process is complete. Candidates who have appeared the examination can check details and download the result using login details at the web portal. To download the result candidates can follow the given simple steps.

  1. Visit the ctet.nic.in Website

    Candidates need to visit the CTET’s official website, ctet.nic.in in your device browser.

  2. Click on Result link

    Once you reach the official website, search for result and click on the link for ‘Result of CTET’ at the bottom and results checking web page will appear.

  3. Enter Login details

    In this CTET results page, Enter your roll number on the login page that opens and submit. Result of CTET will be displayed on the screen.

  4. Download Result

    After clicking on the submit, result would be opened in your device. Take a print-out for future reference.
